This clip from the Whistle Test is the first time I saw the Long Ryders. I can remember it like it was yesterday. When the guy said that they were going to be playing in Aberdeen on Friday night, I got myself straight in there, I can tell you. Saw them playing The Venue (long gone) and then went down to London to see them playing in Hammersmith on the last night of their tour as well. Great memories! the prince of persia – still around?

It’s being reported that Satanism is thriving in Iran. Apparently there are seventy different Satanic groups in what used to be called Persia, and why should we be surprised by that?

In Ephesians 6:12 we’re told where our true adversary can be found, and in Daniel 10 specific mention is made of the prince of Persia. That is commonly understood to refer to a spiritual being, not the corporeal ruler of that land.

We’re told in the Old Testament that Lucifer is prone to gallavanting around the earth (see the book of Job for example.) So it really shouldn’t be too much of a surprise to find his lieutenants wandering around, even openly recruiting, within the borders of Iran today.

Mustafa Ah-mahdi Roshan used to be a director at the Natanz nuclear facility in central Iran. His car mysteriously blew up the other day. Sadly for Mustafa Ah-mahdi, he was in it at the time.

It’s very tempting to write off all European politicians as either total control freaks, or chancers riding the gravy train for as long as they can, in order to avoid having to work for a living.
