the prince of persia – still around?

It’s being reported that Satanism is thriving in Iran. Apparently there are seventy different Satanic groups in what used to be called Persia, and why should we be surprised by that?

In Ephesians 6:12 we’re told where our true adversary can be found, and in Daniel 10 specific mention is made of the prince of Persia. That is commonly understood to refer to a spiritual being, not the corporeal ruler of that land.

We’re told in the Old Testament that Lucifer is prone to gallavanting around the earth (see the book of Job for example.) So it really shouldn’t be too much of a surprise to find his lieutenants wandering around, even openly recruiting, within the borders of Iran today.
